With an average population of around 215,000 people, Hobart is considered as the second least populous capital city in Australia. Almost 42 per cent of people living in the island state of Tasmania are based in this city, largely due to its location on the banks of the magnificent Derwent river. This capital of Tasmania boasts of a grand harbour and various picturesque bars, cafes, restaurants and pubs with exquisite views of the water.
